LAND AKNOWLEDGMENT
Rachael White-Simard (she/her) graduated from the Master of Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Winnipeg in June 2023 amongst many wonderful colleagues whom she is honoured to serve our communities with. She lives, works, dreams and plays on Treaty One land, the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. She comes from English, Scottish, French and Métis ancestry; indigenous and settler heritage. Her mother’s name was Rita and her father’s, Bob. Her hope is that her children and grandchildren learn the history of the Metis Nation and continue to reclaim their history, moving towards healing and joy. She has been in independent practice in the southeastern Manitoba since 2017 as a therapist. She works with individuals of all ages, with families, and couples and is honoured to witness their stories as she co creates her own.

Virtual therapy options are available.
In my practice, I prioritize and focus on the needs of individuals with multiple marginalized identities. I provide a simpler and safer approach to accessing mental health services and resources that are dedicated to addressing issues related to race, 2SLGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, and disability justice in rural Manitoba and surrounding communities.
